Tickets
Visitors are advised to pre-order tickets before their visit. A number of walk-in tickets may be available subject to capacity.
Arrival
The museum is located in Agnes, which is about 30 minutes by foot from Stavern city centre. The nearest bus stops are called Skaubakken and Agnes, a five minute walk away.
Parking
There is parking near the museum. The parking spaces belong to Sjøparken AS and are managed by Parkly.no. There is limited and temporary parking for disabled persons near the museum entrance. Buses visiting the museum are charged 250 NOK by Sjøparken AS through Parkly.no. For more information, visit www.parkly.no or contact edyta@sjoparken.no.
Accessibility
The venue is inclusively designed, and is accessible to wheelchair users who bring their own wheelchairs. The exhibit spans two floors. Note: The second floor will be accessible by elevator after June 2nd 2026. Before this time access is only possible by stairs.
Food and drink
Food and drink is not allowed inside the museum. Havfuglen Café and Agnes Brygghus are located in the immidiate vicinty, and there are further options in the city center.
Cloakroom
There is no cloakroom or luggage storage. Small handbags may be brought into the exhibition.
Restrooms
There are restrooms available, including accessible facilities for persons with reduced mobility.
Children
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Changing stations can be found in Havfuglen Café.
Photography
Photography and film is allowed, without flash in order not to disturb other visitors.
Pets
Pets are not allowed to enter and must remain outside under the pet owner's supervision and responsibility.
