In 2025–2026, the non-profit organization Nerdrum Museum nearly completed the renovation of the historic Chimney House at Agnes across two floors without a single penny of public funding. The phenomenal Cathedral Room, where 20 tons of larvikite in the form of columns, triglyphs, and massive moldings await installation, is the hall where Nerdrum's greatest works will be exhibited in the future.
We depend on the support of the Norwegian people to complete the Cathedral Room, the staircase, and the future terrace. Nerdrum Museum will become a vital, living cultural institution of international caliber that both the local community and Norway can be proud of. All donations, regardless of size, help advance our work and are received with the greatest gratitude.
